SunStar Strategic recently sat down with Steven J. Scheueth, producer of The Conference on Sustainable, Responsible, Impact Investing to discuss the upcoming conference as well as the future of SRI investing.
During the conversation Schueth discussed the 2015 United Nations General Assembly which resulted in identifying 17 Sustainable Development Goals that were adopted by participating countries in an effort to "end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all."
Each goal was defined with clear targets to be met within the next 15 years in areas determined to be of critical importance for humanity and the planet - people, planet, prosperity, peace, and partnership.
