A partnership between the College for Financial Planning and US SIF: The Forum for Sustainable and Responsible Investment has led to a new certification.

The new "Chartered SRI Counselor" or CSRIC, can be obtained after 45 hours of coursework across seven modules that will cover SRI subjects such as history, trends, portfolio building, performance, etc.

The program is designed for those who seek to expand their expertise on Socially Responsible Investing.

The SRI space has been growing steadily and now accounts for over $8 trillion of investable assets.
